Villa Quinta Pedra interior:
The villa is set over three floors based around an internal courtyard and designed in a classic Portuguese style. There are many handcrafted features and unusual artefacts throughout the property.
The unique Lalique style entrance door opens into a circular courtyard style hallway. Leading from the hallway is a cloakroom, attractive staircase. From the hall way turning right you enter into the very spacious lounge and dining area (lovely large wooden table which seats 8) behind which is the central courtyard. The lounge is almost completely surrounded by glass sliding doors. These offer fantastic views over the lush gardens, pool and sea. Comfortable seats and sofas abound and there is a TV area, as well as a fire place. For entertainment there is a TV (News and International Channels) and a card table.
The lounge leads to the fully equipped kitchen. Facilities include an American style fridge, dishwasher, microwave and a breakfast area. This opens to the inside winter garden courtyard which brings even more light into the living room. Back to the hallway we lead to the 2 twin children’s bedrooms sharing a bathroom (these 2 bedrooms can be linked). Each bedroom can accommodate 4 pax.
All bedrooms feature black-out blinds.
First Floor:
Up the spiral wooden staircase we access the first floor which has three double bedrooms. One with fireplace and all with private bathrooms with shower. The master bedroom with en-suite large shower bathroom opens to a large terrace with breathtaking views over the ocean. There is also fourth private double bedroom suite on the same floor. This is accessed by a wooden corridor going out of the villa over the internal winter garden courtyard. Both the master and this fourth bedroom share a very spacious terrace. This runs along the entire front of the villa from which to enjoy the uninterrupted sea views. The staircase then continues up to the second floor where there is a balcony and a small office.
Villa Quinta Pedra exterior:
Patio doors lead out onto a poolside terrace perched high on top of the cliff face. Take a dip in the infinity 12 metre (*heatable) pool or relax in the Jacuzzi. A perfect outdoor area to enjoy pre-dinner drinks, an outdoor al fresco barbecue. Enjoy your ‘front row seats’ from which to admire the spectacular sunsets over the uninterrupted sea view.
In the basement there is a garage with room for two cars. There is also a small games room with a pool table.
